I don't know if any of the European Doctor Who fans on my FL have noticed, but Captain Jack (or at least the actor who plays him!) is in the ITV programme 'Dancing on Ice' (Like 'Strictly Come Dancing' on ice). And he is very, very good. If I was a betting wombat I'd have me a fiver on him to win.

Hi,

Not exactly sure since Dr. Who's first season won't be shown over here until March or May, but I think said actor had a role in the film version of the musical remake of "The Producers.

That is an incredibly clumsy sentence.

If it was him he had one of the funniest songs and one that was in the original movie, 'Springtime for Hitler'.

Take care of the thumb and cat.

I saw John Barrowman on stage in 'Anything Goes' last year (before he hit our screens in Doctor Who). He's an excellent singer and dancer, and you can see his teeth shine when he smiles, even from the Circle!

Multi-talented! That's neat. (I liked the guy's delivery of lines as Captain Jack).

He was also singing on the BBC the hour before Dancing on Ice, and I was glued to both shows. The judges need to take into account the fact that he's doing all the lifting, and Bonnie is being lifted. Still, I think the final will come down to those two. And wasn't he a vision in purple and shades of the rainbow. :D

I saw him many years ago in 'Miss Saigon', and he's obviously an amazingly multi talented performer. Roll on Torchwood.

I missed John last night, but I did see Bonnie, and had to struggle with an internal dilemma the likes of which I have never experienced before -c.f

"Wow, fantastic legs..."
"But it's Bonnie Langford."
"Fantastic legs."
"But it's BONNIE LANGFORD!"
etc :)

Isn't he good? John Barrowman is a very talented man. He'll give anything a try! Is there anything this man can't do? :)

Ways away off the subject but need opinion.

I've just seen another of what I call "A Page Three Abomination." Now this doesn't have anything to do with The Sun and their models. It's just that they seem to appear every third page over at FanFiction.net. It's a type of post-NFA story that I have come to despise. Buffy arrives after the battle and begins weeping over a pile of ashes. Angel, the sole survivor, appears from the shadows and she runs to him through all that remains of Spike. They embrace, the music swells and the story ends.

Do the authors have any IDEA how bad this makes Buffy and Angel appear? That story that I mentioned awhile ago over at S2C's LJ is pretty much a satire of this concept. I'm not certain I can write it now as most of these pieces satirize themselves.

In these worlds I'm glad that Buffy and Angel get together for I would never wish either of them on my worst enemy.

Anyway, would anyone be able to suggest who might be considered a victim of either Buffy or Angel, romantic or otherwise. My little ditty is a response to this leaky ship and I could sure use some help.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.
