curiouswombatHaving a lazy evening yesterday, while husband-person was at work, and daughter-dear at a party, and so I was catching up on some back reading, and I must just say thanks to ezagaaikwe for 'The Heart And Soul Of You', which was wonderful. I'm now having a lazy day to follow, so I might catch up on some more reading, although as S2C has bought me Sims2 (with only a few hints dropped) for my birthday, and we are going out for a meal tonight, I may not get a lot of reading done!
Oh, and guess what? Daughter-dear made me a birthday cake! We had it after lunch. This may not sound like a very big deal, but as my birthday is so close to Christmas I rarely get a cake, as everyone reckons there's enough cake around anyway. S2C was once reminded in time, by what was then a small daughter, to get me one from Marks & Spencer, but this is the only other birthday cake since. Not that I'm bitter or anything! And he did get me a VERY BIG card!
