Yay Shakespeare! I was never much for the sonnets so I hadn't run upon that one before, but I rather like it.

What a beautiful song! That sonnet is lovely as well--"being had, to triumph, being lack'd, to hope" makes me think of the few-and-far-between meetings between Aragorn and Arwen.

This meme is so beautiful, and I would like to participate - but since I never was much exposed to Shakespeare, I have a hard time finding a quote at all.

Thank you. I must admit to liking Shakespeare's musical, poetic, us of words rather than his plots and story lines!

I can relate well to that. Not being a native speaker of English and not having studied the language, I only came by his plays rarely, and sometimes in a more roundabout way (I saw Macbeth, for example, as Japanese Rock Kabuki theatre. Quite a fascinating and cool experience, but I don't know if I got much of the plot *g*). But what little of his words I know I love for the sound of it and music in it. I've actually even found a quote to use, a song I like very much.

The beautifully haunting qualtiy of Loreena's songs are what usually appeals to me with her music.
