Skye - I'm here!

The train journey from Glasgow to Mallaig should be classed as one of the great railway journeys of the world - it is absolutely breathtaking, and I am so glad that I decided to do that rather than bring the car. There are fantastic views of mountains, lochs, gorges, the sea - just wonderful.

The train is one where you need to sit in the right coaches, as the front two go off on a different route after about an hour and a half, and then the next two go a different way at Fort William, and so if you were unfortunate to be in the wrong carriage you could end up in Stirling or Oban rather than Mallaig! Some of the halts are so tiny that they only open one door of the train, as all the other ones are not in line with the platform!!

It is lovely to see D. again after all this time, we have sat and talked and drank wine all evening - if the typing is erratic you will have to forgive me!

Hello! I've been reading your fic '10 years after' and enjoying it immensely, and I noticed you'd snagged one of the Spawn icons I'd made, so I thought I'd say 'hello' *waves* and friend you so that I can keep up with further developments in the story etc!

Hope you're enjoying your holiday and it's not too rainy! Down here in the South today it's thunder and lightning and torrential rain! Don't you just love the British summer!!??

Hello - welcome - see - I can even go online in Skye! Thanks for the use of the icon - I think I snagged two - I have a feeling though that in my credit for it one of them has your name spelt wrongly - apologies!

The day before yesterday was unrelenting rain for about 24hours - today is sunny though!
