A meme acquired from
huinare.
Using only song names from one artist, cleverly answer these questions. Repost as “My Life According to (band name)"
Are you a male or female? Ribhinn Donn (Brown Haired girl)
Describe yourself: In Search Of Angels
How do you feel?: All Things Must Change
Describe where you currently live: Edge Of The World
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?: Sraidean Na Roinn-Eorpa Streets Of Europe
Your favourite form of transportation: Road Trip
Your best friends are: Wonderful
Your favourite colour is: Our Earth Was Once Green
If your life was a TV show, what would it be called? Satellite Flood
What is life to you?: (Stepping Down The) Glory Road
Your current relationship: Hearthammer
Looking for: In Search Of Angels
Wouldn’t mind: Big Songs Of Hope And Cheer
Your fear: O Cho Meallt - Much Deception
What is the best advice you have to give? Tear Down These Walls
If you could change your name, you would change it to: Mhairi
Thought for the Day: All Things Must Change
Those who know me well, and also have some knowledge of Gaelic pronunciation, will be amused at the next to last answer...

Date: 03/05/2013 06:56 pm (UTC)As for Stepping Down the Glory Road - I think of it as my theme tune! I am leaving instructions that it is to be played as my coffin leaves church at the end of my funeral - and everyone is to follow it joyously.

Date: 03/05/2013 09:57 pm (UTC)(The "which music would you have played at your funeral" meme is always an interesting one, too. In truth I hope to have have Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending, but am occasionally prompted by the little devil on my shoulder to opt for, were I to be cremated, Bowie's Ashes to Ashes...

Date: 03/05/2013 10:41 pm (UTC)Thank you - It seems as good a way to look on life as any...
Actually I almost called 'The Valinor Trail' that - but I had used so much Runrig in 'Dust' that I thought perhaps not.
Talking about 'Dust' and funeral songs - I think I would actually like my coffin brought in to Dust (http://youtu.be/H2Z21pPRe1E) -which is actually about death, and very suitable. (Even more so for a cremation...!) I want the whole thing playing, though - no ten bars and cut to the minister!
I want 'One More Step Along the World I Go' as a hymn, and then I'm going out to 'Glory Road'. I'd really rather like to be there to sing along!
