I don't often do these things, but I tried this, and I just have to show you the results - I still behave like a young slip of a girl - apparently! Well it seems like a wee slip of a girl to me at my advanced years!!

You Are 29 Years Old

29

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

I think chosing The Rolling Stones drove my average age up; actually, I am six.

Julia, and some days four...

I had a problem with with the Rolling Stones as well - I just couldn't bring myself to put G&R, because I didn't really think they were that good!

Because, I forgot to say, according to the quiz, I'm seventeen, and The Daughter will be seventeen in April and I know I'm not that serious and hard-working.

Julia, so, six

Heh. I hadn't read your comment, but I just commented how my 16-year-old is much more serious than I am!

Miss Perfect scares the heck out of me- how my husband and I, slackers of the first water, ever came up with a driven academic over-achiever, I'll never know.

Her brother, at eighteen, is more laid back and maintains a skeptical humor about annoying stuff that would drive me spare- he got stranded at the gas station this afternoon in the farm pick-up, dressed for a visit to the pig barns, and he's pretty much "Oh, it all worked out, no big deal".

Don't understand either of them.

Julia, life is strange

Aw shucks - that makes you even younger than me! Although as I'm fairly sure you are, I shouldn't really complain!

Actually, I think we're much of an age, if you're close to S2C in years. I used to assume I must be by far the oldest person on-line, making me an ancient crone sucked into this vampire nonsense because I watched it with my kids, but I've since discovered fandom really is ageless.

Yep - I'm only 14 months younger than my beloved. I get the feeling that there are a few middle-aged ladies around LJ - but only chronologically! Inside I'm about the age the quiz says I am, or a bit younger.

I was not impressed when daughter-dear pointed out a few days ago that if we still expected the biblical three score years and ten, an equal division into 'young', 'middle age' and 'old' puts me into 'old' - so she didn't know why I said I didn't really feel like a 'middle aged' lady!!

I prefer the definition given by Lois McMaster Bujold (a lady older than either of us) in one of her novels. Middle age is a moveable feast. It's always 10 years older than you are.

I watch fan vids, read and write fan fic, and my younger daughter is getting me into anime. My other daughter, who is that stern and serious age of 16, is much older than I.

What a coincidence, that's how old I am every year! The quiz claimed I was 15 but I wouldn't want to be that age again if you you paid me.

Fifteen eh? No, I wouldn't fancy that much either!
