curiouswombat: (birthday)
[personal profile] curiouswombat
Today it is [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch's birthday.

I looked all over for a suitable picture of glittering blue tentacles - but to no avail, I even managed to find a picture of Winnie the Pooh with an udder - but that was not right somehow, so finally I decided on this -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch!

May 2006 bring you a job which is interesting, well paid, and close to home. Preferably one which allows you to surf the net!

ETA - Especially for Bogwitch the animated Winnie the Pooh with udder is in the comments to this post - in case anyone else is brave enough to look!

Winnie the Pooh with an udder. ::is intrigued::

Cheers!

I'm scared of jobs with the net now. Too much temptation!

How Cool is that? Moo!

I used to work for a cattle breed society, you know.

Ah-ha! I'll try to remember for next year!!

I used to get (and give) lots of cow themed presents!

Has mind boggling thoughts about what if Illyria's original form had been black and white with udders...or perhaps more Charolaise or Qiuanina (?spellings?) - maybe a Highland Coo style...

Spike reached up, sucking one udder sensuously, nipping with his tongue as his hands tweaked the others...

Maybe not, eh?

Hmm - might work if you're a boob-man, maybe.

Agricultural seems more Angel really - you know rural Ireland and all that...

Or somehow Xander, I could almost see Xander the demon magnet....

I felt I was getting dangerously into slash territory. I feel dirty.

I now have some dreadful Angel thoughts.

Why do I end up writing all this beastiality????

OK - I give you the ultimate in the genre - Puppet Angel and Morag the Cow - no more needs to be said, really....!!

That's not the ultimate.

Puppet!Angel and Ermintrude!

I've obviously missed out on Morag.

Morag the Cow was on the children's Saturday morning show Fully Booked - she was a wonderful Scottish accented animatronic highland cow, who did the Agony Aunt spot, and interviewed up-coming pop-singers!

I can't find a picture, sadly!

I used to like that dragon who had a little cat, but I can't remember what it was on. Was a while ago mind.

Although I think Puppet!Angel and Ermintrude probably has it - 'So sorry, dear boy, I thought your nose was an edible little flower...!'

Ermintrude would be far too cheeky for him.

It would not be an easy relationship - still, Ermintrude would be unlikely to make him perfectly happy. Can you imagine Puppet!Angelus coming up against Florence the Vampire Slayer?

What would we do without these tangents?

And you're suprised?

That is just wrong.

Udderly wrong.

I used to drive past the headquarters of ABS, one of the largest suppliers of cattle sperm in the U.S.. Whoever had the job of maintaining their sign would post the most horrific puns this side of . . . this side of your husband.

Example.

Our donors are ready, willing and a bull.

Oh no! That has to be terrible pun of the week!

There was an apocryphal story in UK farming about the old farmer getting 'the man from the Ministry' in to inseminate the cows, rather than a neighbour's bull as previously, and getting everything ready as per the instructions. Clean cow-house, hot water and towels for the man to keep his hands clean - then adding 'and I've even put a hook on the back of the door for you to hang up your trousers.'!

Wonderful little story.

I've got one for you but the situation under which I heard it smacks too much of a 'guess what celebrity' I met story for me to put it up without permission.

Say I can and I will.

Strangely enough I was talking with a friend of mine today who still lives near ABS and he started off by telling me about the new sign.

Yes, it's that bad. So bad I'm just going to post part of it and let you fill in the rest.

Here it is.

You've heard of merchant seamen. Well we're . . . .

I'm certain you'll get this one.

No pun intended.

Hello! Popped in following a trail of Spike enthusiasts and saw that you and I shared several interests. May I friend you?

Hello - feel free - you are very welcome. I see what you mean about us aving interests in common, and I will friend you right back.

Sometimes I write sensible stuff about family, and family past - I must do that again soon. Occasionally Spike et al turn up, and sometimes things are just downright silly - like this post!
