First - I hope all my American friends have a lot of things to give thanks for today - and every day.

Secondly - sneak preview of something for D-d for Christmas - folding shoes that come in a tiny purse, complete with a shoe bag to put your killer heels into to carry home at the end of the night...

Wow. Those shoes are EXPENSIVE!!! She is a lucky girl if that is one of her presents...!

I reckon they may well reduce the number of blisters, and then would be well worth the outlay.

Also they have a few pairs reduced in the sale...

Great idea -- not very good for buying for boys but might add to my own wish list!!

I thought they looked so pretty, and seem to actually be possible to walk in as they do have a reasonable amount of sole!

Oo! Shiny! She is one lucky girl to have such a thought full Mum!

Well turkey is in the oven, dressing is made and I am about to do battle with the broccoli! Sweet potatoes are cooked and ready to be peeled, think I have every thing under control!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Lynda

My daughter is inclined to a love of high heels - and blisters... So I think these, being pretty, might be a good thing to carry on a night out!

Enjoy your dinner - it sounds really good.

Thank you. :)

Folding shoes! I never heard of such a thing before.

I hope you and Pip have a very good dinner.

I saw the shoes suggested as a suggestion for a gift for teenagers - and thought of D-d's love of high heels, and easily blistered feet... hopefully she could wear them to make her way home at the end of the night!

I remember seeing something like that years ago but not recently.

A most excellent gift.

I do hope she likes them - they seemed to me to be pretty and also eminently useful.

Lovely Christmas present for D-d, and very comfortable too. Lucky Girl!

They seemed to me to be stylishly useful for someone with a love of high heels, and tender feet!

The shoes are adorable, although if they couldn't accept my orthotic inserts they wouldn't work for me.

It's a great idea!

Sadly I think they may be best worn by the under 40s... But I though they might be useful when out for the night and the killer heels are, well, killing the feet!

They are a good idea, even though they are double the price they were last year. (Not that particular company but in general.) If my daughter was still wearing heels and going out socially I would buy her a pair. I bet D-d loves them. :)

They are expensive - but very pretty (especially the ones that were reduced...)

My daughter loves killer heels - but blisters very easily, so I'm hoping these might be good for walking home in!

What a clever idea!

And thank you... much to be thankful for this year, despite some things I could have done without.

I thought they looked rather useful.

I am thankful that your surgery has, so far, gone exactly as planned. And, as we begin Advent, a time of looking forward - I hope everything continues to go as planned and as smoothly as possible.

Thank you... so far, so good, as they say. Getting a little better each day. :)

What a thoughtful gift, useful and pretty, too.

I think she'll like them - and they might prevent a few blisters as well!
