I'm going to The Return of the Ring aka Tolkien 2012!

I know it doesn't start until Thursday, and tomorrow is Wednesday, but I'm going to gillo's tomorrow and we are going to the Big Do together. Better pack...

I'm taking my netbook, and I'm sure to be around, but I guess we are going to be busy.

I'm looking out for Inzilbeth-Liz and Altariel... anyone else coming?

25mph winds from about 45degrees to the bow and forecast 'state of the sea=rough' last night. But the winds held off and only really began to pick up this morning and so, so far, the sea state is still 'moderate' after all.

I'm actually typing this on the boat, about 4 or 5 miles out now, and although I've been on smoother journeys it is not too bad... yet.

We are only about 45 minutes away, at Gill's house, at the moment - and at least it is dry, and the sun is trying to shine, so hopefully the weather is going to at least start out OK.

Yesterday it rained so heavily, just as the train got to Crewe, that it got into the electrics and we had to eventually change trains.
