It has been a Bank Holiday here, and so, as a government employee, I have had the day off and, in my Mum's words, I had plans to break eggs with big sticks(!), but actually have done very little as the weather has been horrible - damp and grey and more like early March than early May

However, I did sit here quietly and watch The Hunt For Gollum - for those who haven't heard of it, this is a professional quality on-line film set in Middle Earth, based on the work of JRR Tolkien - and I would thoroughly recommend it. Wonderful stuff.

I suppose the good news is that, apart from watching The Hunt For Gollum, as I didn't go out and do any of the things I was planning, I did write about 1,000 words of Brotherhood!
