Last night I went to our Maundy Thursday meal and communion service at church, where we join together with the congregation of the Anglican Church which is literally next door to our Church.
Today I have not, I am afraid, spent all my day in prayer and contemplation - I spent it mostly in sunshine and gardening.
We followed tradition and had fish and chips from the chippy for Good Friday Dinner, and a hot-cross-bun with coffee during the afternoon. Sometimes the cultural traditions are better kept than the religious ones!
And Daughter-dear and I have also spent time laughing at some of her baby pictures. We found what is probably both her and my favourite baby picture of hers - ever!
My BiL took a series of us as a family when D-d was nine months old. He enlarged and framed a very nice one. It was not the one which is

Now that we have all this wonderful computer technology maybe I should enlarge that one myself, and replace the much more correct one which has been on show in pride of place in our living room ever since!
