The Archers and the Vampire.....

My friend D. in Skye has just posted me a link to a BBC message board for The Archers. For those of you from outside the UK The Archers is one of the longest running radio soaps in the world, if not the absolute longest. They have fanfic on their official message boards!

These are basically the sections, all about 4-500 words long, of an Archers fanfic in which they encounter Vlad Dracovitch, written by lantana2. All you need to know is that Usha is a solicitor(or maybe a lawyer - I don't listen very often) and Alan is her boyfriend/fiancé - the rest is explained as the story proceeds. The last couple of sections particularly are wonderful!


I will definitely be going back to look for more - if anyone is interested, just say in comments, and I will put links to further episodes of what could well be the worlds first BtVS/Archers crossover!!
