Greetings!

Happy birthday to my twins(!) - vegmb and nihilistbear, although I'm not sure that Alice is still around enough to notice.

Hope you are having as good a day as I am.

I have a new coat from my husband (I know he got me one for Christmas - but he liked this one and so he bought it as well) and some flowers; some lovely Whittards coffee and a voucher for the local beauty salon from Daughter-dear (pampering - what bliss); a cookery book all about fish from my friend D; a new shirt from my Mum; a jumper from my sister; some ornaments from my nieces and a writing compendium from friend L. All much appreciated, as are all the lovely greetings, and the e-card from kazzy_cee.

D-d and I went out for lunch, to a local country pub, I had afternoon tea and a mincepie at my friends' down the road, and D-d's friend came around later to show off her new engagement ring!

I am having a quiet evening - S2C is going to work - and D-d asked me very nicely would I mind being left alone if she went to a party? Of course not, I have LJ, the telly-zapper, chocolate and a cat!
