Happy Easter, or what ever you celebrate.

I have just eaten roast duck, roast chicken, roast parsnips, and potaoes, green veg, etc. etc. etc - washed down with a bottle of wine between D-d and I.

I don't think I'd better try posting my 365 pictures right now - I'm not fully functional...

I'll upload them and post them tomorrow instead!

I didn't have nearly as classy food as you did, just some typical American breakfast food (including biscuits and gravy--that's American biscuits/rolls, not European biscuits), all kinds of salads, ham, and desserts. Later on tonight I'm going to a Polish restaurant with the other side of my family.

Update: It was actually a Bohemian restaurant, not Polish, but we had roast chicken, roast beef, two kinds of sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, and bread dumplings. And LOTS of gravy!

You just have to do like me, make up and post a poll to keep from sliding into a food induced coma.

And to you. The only down-side, for D-d and I, was that the MotoGP was rained off. In Qatar! They only have 6 days of rain a year and it rained on the MotoGP! We are bike fans, my daughter and I, especially Valentino Rossi fans...

Roast duck AND roast chicken!! The Yummy.

And, did you know that Qatar was my childhood home and that when it rained (very very rarely) it bloody rained - so that lakes were created and the local children swam, and we Brit children danced and danced for joy - but NEVER, EVER in April.

The rains came much earlier than that - is the reason climate change or because so much more of Qatar has been given over to farming?

James Toseland, one of the MGP riders who is a Yorkshireman who happens to live here, seems to have taken the rain with him. He commented that there had been on a testing day in Qatar before the season started and it had rained - and then the weather was fine for the 125cc and 250cc races but, as soon as they wheeled the actual MGP (bike version of Formula One)bikes out, the heavens opened.

Happy Easter to you too! Look forward to the photos but understand the delay [downed rather a lot of wine myself!]

I didn't think I'd cope with getting them onto Flickr properly, at all! But I am going to start now.
