Meme for the weekend.

See - a post with the only naked tit on show being the one on my icon.
I have seen this on two or three people's journals, so it is not really from anyone in particular - but I decided it was pretty good - Anne of Cleves has always been my favourite of Henry's wives - and the summing up is probably pretty apt!

Which of Henry VIII's wives are you?
this quiz was made by Lori Fury
Also - someone, or even sometwo, tagged me for memes during the last ten days or so, and I was so distracted by talk of nipples, nudity and profanity that I've forgotten who, for what. So if you tagged me to do one, (a)apologies, and (b) remind me if you still want to know!

Date: 10/06/2006 09:05 pm (UTC)Have you watched all of the football? Its been great so far, although I wanted to smack Didier Drogba. The Ivory Coast might've won if it hadn't been for his antics. Holland tomorrow.

Date: 10/06/2006 09:18 pm (UTC)I must say though, that the Trinidad and Tobago v Sweden match was just wonderful - although non-fotballing nations might wonder how a 0-0 draw can be a fantastic match, but it was. Even though I rather like the Swedes, I was willing T&T on as if Shaka Hislop was actually a member of the family, and not just the person we named the cat after.

Date: 11/06/2006 04:55 am (UTC)And dare I ask how you decide which side is evil in the Argentina/ Ivory Coast battle? Or is Argentina just always automatically evil, like the New York Yankees?

Date: 11/06/2006 09:29 am (UTC)I think the Argentinians would have to be the baddies - as I am not as seriously anti-English as the Scots and Irish. (The anti-Argentinian thing in England has less to do with the Falklands war, and most to do with the 'Maradona and the Hand of God' incident. This is when England were knocked out of an earlier World Cup by a goal which was clearly, to everyone except the referee, a hand ball. Maradona admitted it afterwards, saying at that moment it was not his hand, but the 'Hand of God'!)
