curiouswombatOK – which of my European friends has seen the trailer for ITV’s Northern Lights? Robson Green is looking more and more like James Marsters’ long lost brother. Separated at birth I tell you!
And Morten Harket – I still firmly believe the man is a half-elf, and his appearance on Top of the Pops a few minutes ago just proves how right I am. The guy is 46 – yes honestly – 46! He is a thing of beauty!

My daughter has disclosed a new talent acquired in Australia – she was sitting here last night playing a cardboard-tube didgeridoo very successfully! She can help support herself at university by busking!!
Final piece of randomness – I have all the pattern ‘set’ on the Aran jacket I’m knitting for her, it’s looking as if it will be complicatedly challenging, which is good.
