It is a tremendous compliment to D-d to be specifically asked for, and it will be a wonderful experience in every way. I was watching a rerun of a Time Team episode recently where they did a dig. The history of the place would be very interesting. I also remember a very old series called Bergerac, with John Nettles, which I think was filmed on Jersey. lovely scenery, and probably not much different. Both places I would like to visit.
