The castle is interesting because it survived the English civil War unscathed.
As for Manx - when someone noticed that the UN had said that Manx was totally dead the children who attend school where the main language used at all times is Manx wrote letters to all the relevant committee members... in Manx. Basically saying 'if Manx is dead what is this language we are writing to you in?'
I love the idea of them then desperately trying to find out what language all these letters were written in, and a translator...!
