Hurrah for National Chocolate week - I am celebrating with mugs of Chilli Hot Chocolate when I get home from work - and might even bake something at the weekend.

But in the meantime I thought I might just share this link with you all, to Domestic Sluttery's top ten chocolate recipes. I've made at least three of them - I think it may be more.

Ooo... that hot chocolate sounds good! And it's dairy free!

Thought about ordering some (as well as some Banoffee hot chocolate... yum!!!), but shipping was going to cost as much as the hot chocolate. I just couldn't quite justify it (especially since I already splurged this morning and ordered the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who Monopoly game).

I am one of those strange people who doesn't adore chocolate. I quite like it but I prefer sugar mice :D

*looks sadly at empty packet of chocolate raisins* Well, at least I'm doing my bit.

I'm rather looking forward to running out again, and being able to try the chilli and lime one, which is new since the last time I ordered.

I wonder how much just ordinary postage would be? I order mine by post and get about 6 tubs at a time - so I could order some for you next time if it was more reasonable to post it myself.

Sugar mice are fun - but I do have a real chocolate tooth, I fear.

I think if I were to buy more than two, it might be more worthwhile (since I think they have free shipping over a certain amount). I just don't drink that much hot cocoa!!

I get enough for at least 6 months at a time - sometimes enough for a year! It keep well. And you can always see if anyone else wants some - or give it as Christmas presents...

It's nice to have good news - every week needs some. Sadly not every week is chocolate week - so we'd better make the most of it!

Don't know where you can get it in the UK, but for US orders, I picked up mine at Spencer's (http://www.spencersonline.com/product/Us-Monop-Dr-Who/). There was actually one done a year or so ago with just the 11th Doctor, but it was only available in the UK and the shipping cost was something like twice the cost of the game itself! (I was still horribly tempted.) Really glad this one appears to be available on both sides of the Atlantic...

Hmmm... I'm liking the idea of giving it as gifts. Will have to ponder that!

It is one of my favourite sites - and D-d got me their book for Mothering Sunday. Their recipes I've tried always work - which is good!

I actually made the cupcakes with the creme eggs in - for D-d's birthday (http://curiouswombat.livejournal.com/2012/04/03/) - only I used small caramel eggs - and they were really rather good.

Mmm - I do like a good eclair, too. I haven't made any for years though, we have a local shop that makes good ones.

Surprisingly, even with my formerly strong sweet tooth, I've done rather well giving up dessert except for the occasional bite. However, I haven't given up dark chocolate. It's good that it's allowed!

Dark chocolate has so much taste - small amounts are still enough to satisfy that 'chocolate tooth'.
