Another great chapter. And more with the locations that tie in with the places I have visited. Edinburgh - honeymoon and several weekends since. We have piccies of those squirrels somewhere. Paris - first holiday abroad with hubby plus long weekend with our mates when their band played a gig there, though we were staying in the cheap end of town. Whitby - "full of Goths and weirdoes" (Okay I'm paraphrasing, but I resemble that remark) - for several years, twice a year that was me, hubby, sis-in-law, her hubby and quite a few of our friends making up part of the Newcastle contingent of the invasion of 1,000+ goths. Not to mention Newcastle itself...
If the setting moves to Prague (the only other abroad location I've visited) I'm going to get suspicious.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I spent all last night reading The Watcher Diaries and all the fics from the Roxyverse. Loved every one (and S2C's Fight for the Right to Party did made a lot more sense with all the back story, which is what tempted me into it), but as someone before me pointed out, the writing talent in your house is definitely spread about.
I especially liked the character Jack, so kudos to both you for writing him so well and to the roleplayer/GM responsible.
