I love how you suggest a possible immortality for Dawn (although the Highlander Syndrome reference is lost on me, as I did not watch that) -- always the problem with writing pairings with Spike, how to fanwank having her stick around, young and lovely, as no-one seems to envision Spike with an *ahem* mature woman. Love your careful building of Dawn's theory about her Key-ness.
