The Right Kind of Shield... Part Two

I wrote a short fic last year, in my Returnverse, called The Right Kind of Shield. A few people, in various places where it was posted, asked for a bit more. And so, when I reached this part of the timeline uploading the stories at Faerie, I decided to write part two.

As it relates to the wager mentioned in the last line of the original, it has become what someone at Twisting the Hellmouth called a smutlet, I fear... :)
