Sunday Pics and stuff...
4 Mar 2012 08:34 pmWhere did that week go? Well I did get the next chapter of Immigrants finished, just waiting for my beta to finish fine-tooth combing it for me; and I have, finally, got the results for the prescriber's exam I sat in mid January - I passed, thank goodness! Actually I was pretty sure, when I came out, where I would have dropped marks (mainly in the law questions rather than the medical-type ones) and more or less predicted how many marks I thought I'd get - and I got one mark more than I thought - which proved that I was right in the other ones, thank goodness. So now we have to wait for the marks for the practice portfolio, and the essay... goodness knows how long that will take.
Yesterday S2C and I went to our daughter's for dinner... D-d invited us around, and cooked a nice chicken stir-fry with noodles for us, before we all went out together to see Dara O'Briain - she bought the tickets sometime around Christmas as a gift for us and so it was really neat that she has her own place sorted just at the right time to invite us to eat before the gig!
It was very, very, funny, too; I can see 'It's nice to be out...' and 'Something for the dads...' being phrases that make D-d and I giggle for a while - and S2C keeps laughing at the idea of the tiger in the kitchen... yes - a very good gig.
But there are no pictures of any of that - although there are a couple of pictures that might make
petzipellepingo rather envious and an 'after pic' that goes with a 'before' that I posted a couple of years ago...( all under here )
At church this morning we were admiring pictures of a new baby - his proud dad was there, but baby Charlie and his Mum were still in hospital as he was born 4 weeks early... on February 29th.
D-d is still coming up home and taking boxes and bags down home with her - it's a wonder there's anything left here, really - and so sometime this week I think I can actually begin to sort my kitchen cupboards out now that some of the things that were either hers, or being kept for her, are gone. Then there are actually empty drawers and things upstairs... Yes, I can see the coming week being busy, too!
