Let There Be Light.

The theme at Photo Scavenger this week was lights. I have been concentrating on some of the lights around me, in consequence, when the camera has been in my hand.

This week we have decorated the house - and I've made sweets and biscuits for quite a lot of people (or candy and cookies if you speak American) - but I didn't take pictures of them... maybe I'll remember if I do some more. And I will need to do some more as I managed to overbake a whole batch of cranberry and white-chocolate cookies.

I'm still writing Christmas cards - I'm not terribly organised about them, to be honest - so apologies if I miss you - it won't be a purposeful slight, honestly.

Instead of writing a letter to go with some of them I am now happily watching Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall preparing for Christmas on TV - he's not for the weak of stomach!

I have only two more days at work - then I'm off for two weeks! Hurrah! I might even manage to buy my Christmas presents before the 25th, with any luck!

Oh - and if you wonder which picture I actually posted at Photo Scavenger - the answer is none of those - but something rather different after all!
