Recently there was a set of prompts on Tolkien Weekly related to knitting, sewing and weaving. As is often the case, my mind went off on a tangent for the first one - and I like the challenge of continuing the rest of a set of challenges with a similar theme to the first one. And so my drabbles became centred around a slightly different form of stitchery...
They are set within the Returnverse - the 'she' all the way through is actually Tindómë (previously known as Dawn Summers). It could be seen as a slight variant on a conversation in Stormy Nights In Imladris.
But - there's more...
azalaisdep has a mind that often runs on a similar track to mine (she is the person who coined the phrase 'mind like a Welsh mountain railway - one track and dirty...'!).
And my first drabble became like the first leg in a relay - we passed the twin sons of Elrond back and forth between the two of us for about six weeks! So apart from my drabbles - which will read fine on their own, it would be even better if you also follow the links I've added to Azalais' as well.
These could well be the first set of drabbles I would have to rate as 13 I think!
So - without further ado - ( A Series of Unfortunate Medical Mishaps... )
