Gate Post...!
5 Apr 2010 09:23 pmI promised that I would gather together some of the pictures of gateways I have photographed, as a number of people have commented on them. (One of the gateways in the 365 posts, included here, has actually had fic written for it! The story is by
just_ann_now and is mild slash featuring Boromir...)
I have added some others to a few from the project so - under the cut are some fascinating gateways, a stile and a set of steps - feel free to be inspired!
( where do you think this might lead...? )
I took my camera out today, it was my last day off work being Easter Monday, and I went north to see Mum. I took a lot of pictures and will post more of them during the week, or as Sunday pic-spam - but in the meantime, enjoy the gates, passages and stairs.
Oh - a silly PS! Last night my beloved husband, known to many of you, went out to make himself a cup of coffee. He put the sweetener in his mug, opened the jar beside the kettle, spooned the brown granules into his cup, added boiling water, stirred, then went to the fridge and added the milk... at which point he thought 'That looks a bit of an odd colour...' and realised that he had a steaming mug of sweetened gravy...
I'd used Bisto gravy granules to eke out the chicken juices at lunch time - next time I mustn't forget to put them away again, remembering that this is the man who can't even tell cheese from ham...
