Spring is finally springing here.
20 Mar 2010 02:29 pmToday is officially the first day of Spring - and I think someone must have sent the memo over night to my plants!
When I woke up this morning (thanks to a cup of coffee from S2C who'd been at work all night) it was wet and windy. Fairly typical early spring weather, to be honest, but not conducive to going outdoors.
However, the rain stopped, the wind has eased a bit, and the sun is now shining. I have actually hung washing out. And whilst I was out I realised that all of a sudden there were, just about, spring flowers!
So I took the camera out, of course - granted there isn't a lot of spring colour, but ( there is something! )
Now I am going to glue myself to the television as it is Super Saturday in the Six Nations. D-d has two Irish house-mates, as well as few English ones, and is letting her Irish blood (1/8th if we are being accurate!) take the lead today! They will all be equally glued to their TV.
Also - and this is mainly for my own satisfaction - 'Brotherhood' has now passed 20,000 hits at 'Twisting the Hellmouth' - and 'Return of The Key' is approaching 40,000.
