Christmas - mostly for cats...

We've had a lovely day and I hope everyone else has, too, no matter how, or what, you celebrate at this time of year.

As usual we left the main present opening until D-d and I had been to church - although the cat got to open his before that because he was eyeing up all the baubles, ribbons and bows. Actually he was very 'helpful' last night when I was wrapping presents...

Most presents were opened between church and lunch, accompanied by glasses of Baileys.

I got some lovely presents, including chocolate cranberries, some more crystal decorations for the tree - some beautiful new candlesticks from my Mum, and... an absolutely beautiful eternity ring from S2C.

We had turkey and all the trimmings for lunch, with roast potatoes, spiced red cabbage and roast parsnips. No pudding - too full!

We have watched The Incredibles on TV, and D-d's Father Christmas DVD, then her Father Ted Christmas Special that she got as part of her Christmas gift from S2C. All really good fun.

We finally had our cheesecake, which was meant for pudding, about 9.30pm!
