15 Aug 2009 06:35 pmThis is a bit of a fly-by post - we arrived in Coventry early yesterday afternoon - having left home at 6.45a.m. - so quite a quick journey, for us.
Lovely to meet both old and new attendees - and the hotel and meeting room are really good.
If ever you are at the Ramada hotel in Coventry,
gillo and I can recommend the tapas...
All the talks today have been informative and fun - a great deal of audience participation - much less formal than the big Con in the USA!
My talk on 'Things that make you go WTF?' seemed to go well - it was a fun one to do the research for, even if it did make my brain hurt a few times.
The hotel are putting a buffet on for us this evening, so fun will be had socialising until we all flake out.
S2C and I are staying with
gillo for a couple of days, and will go home on Tuesday night's boat.
I hope to get to do my 365 post tomorrow, but if I don't get around to it, I will do it a few days late, when we get home.
