Fire engine.
5 Aug 2007 07:45 pmI was shopping with my mother in Ramsey yesterday. There were a couple of the local firemen collecting for the Fire Services Benevolent Fund, and they had come in their...fire-engine?...tender?....official vehicle of some sort.

The white tower in the background of the first picture is the fire station tower - so you can see why they collect at this particular supermarket - in fact they only brought the baby fire-engine to attract attention, as if their alarm had gone they could have run to the station in less than 30 seconds.
