curiouswombat: (No time)
Many of my LJ friends are, or were, part of the Buffy fandom - and I would rejoice in the fact that that first ever episode of the series hit the US ten years ago for that alone. But it is one of the few series on TV that I have watched from beginning to end - mostly with my daughter and mostly with enjoyment.

And the fandom is something I share with my husband - which is, I know, pretty unusual. So Buffy - source of family togetherness, endless amounts of reading, and many new friends - got to be good, eh?

But there is time for no deeper thought - today I have

Had a lie-in, and had coffee in bed courtesy of S2C.
Visited my Mum for lunch, and taken her to do her weekly 'trolley-shopping'.
Found readings, both biblical and other, for next week's Mothering Sunday Service.
Written an Order of Service for same. (Everyone needs to get copies of it tomorrow.)
Sorted out a lot of craft stuff for the small children to use in the créche at Church.
E-mailed Daughter-dear.

And I still have to

Make a couple of cards to take to Church tomorrow.
Sort out craft stuff for the older children to use tomorrow to make the Easter posters to go outside church.
Read my FL.
Collapse in a heap in bed.
