Advent candles, weather.

Today is the first Sunday in Advent. I took the Advent Ring into Church - it is the job of the Sunday School leader to do the candle ring as the Sunday School children light the candles and read the words. I decided that it might look better with a twist of ivy around it, so I was out in the back yard at 10.30 last night in the pouring rain cutting ivy by feel off the wall!

It is blowing a hooley outside at the moment - winds of 70mph, and so I am staying inside in the warm with a hearth full of lit candles, doing nothing very productive at all!
