This and That.
22 May 2006 10:59 pmI haven't updated for a while - but nothing very exciting has been happening, to be honest.
We had spring for about six or seven days between May 6th and 13th, seem to have missed summer and autumn, and are now well into winter here! It has only crawled up to 9*C max today - that's about 48*F - honestly! The rain has been non-stop all day. Watching the Chelsea Flower Show on TV has brightened things up though - the Queen in her sensible headscarf, and a theme of water-preservation explained by presenters with brollies and wellies!!
D-d is managing to drive Po pretty well now - we practiced parking in the Church car-park on Sunday when everyone else had gone home!
She is now into her A level exams - one History and one German down, two more German exams tomorrow, and then another six or seven I think. She has spotted a prom-dress on E-bay which she really really wants - so I will be sitting here poised as bidding draws to a close on Wednesday - I'll let you know how I do!
This evening I have spent a couple of hours card-making for Church funds, and so I feel quite accomplished right now!
