We're having another bit of weather tomorrow! Katherine has a 'storm day'! This is a fairly rare occurence, but we are expecting another big blow, and the worst of it is due in the afternoon tomorrow, during school time - and the bus company are worried that they might not be able to get everyone home from school if the roads get blocked with fallen trees.

There could well be more trees down - I heard on local radio this morning that there were about 1,000 trees lost during the storm on Friday night/Saturday morning. Now this could mean that every loose tree that could come down has come down, but it is more likely to mean that some have been weakened at the roots by neighbouring ones having pulled up their roots as they fell.

This time we are only expecting a Force 10, it was an 11 on Friday night!

A couple of Katherine's friends are not looking forward to their 'storm day' as they still have no power from last time, so school is warmer, with working computers!

As far as I know, neither S2C nor I have a 'storm day' - but I am mainly in town areas tomorrow, so shouldn't have too much trouble, and hopefully it will have died down a bit by the time I go to collect him from work tomorrow night!
