It's a shame so few people read any of the Roxyverse stuff, particularly as Buffy, Dawn, Spike etc. etc. all turn up in it.
However, at the moment I'm doing a straight Buffyverse fiction, and I want to call someone a swot - but I'm not sure it's a word that Buffy would know. What is an American equivalent? A swot is not really a nerd - a swot is someone who enjoys spending a lot of time on their school work, and is a derogatory word used by those who don't usually spend enough time on it! Willow is pretty much the definitive swot. Any suggestions? All help gratefully received!
