Here are the pictures to reflect this week.

Not a terribly exciting week - apart from seeing Ross Noble on Friday, but I didn't take my camera to that.

I have more pics that I must get around to posting seperately.

So -

Monday - it was Easter Monday - here is a picture of the Easter egg my daughter gave me - all eaten now...

Tuesday - a quiet evening at home after a pretty busy day back at work. I lit the candles around the fireplace - apart from anything else the big ones are lime and vanilla scented, and remind me of chocolate limes! I had two or three tries, with different camera settings - this was without any flash, but worked quite well, I thought -

365 week 7 003

Wednesday - I drove across the high hills to get to Kirk Michael, and stopped briefly to take a picture - it was still a little misty, and the view further on was better - but there was another car right behind me, on a narrow road so better not to stop!

365 week 7 004

This simply amused me - so, for Thursday, a picture of a lemonade bottle, snapped as we sat at the table eating our evening meal. Those of us with cats, dogs etc. might be a bit worried about this...

365 week 7 021

Friday - remember the picture of the hole in the ground in the lane beside the house? Well finally, they have finished whatever they were doing, and it is being filled in!

365 week 7 022

Saturday D-d and I went out to lunch with my Mum, took her to do her shopping, and then took her tiny dog for a walk. We walk out on the Ayres - the flat sandy land at the very north of the island, covered in wiry grass, heather and gorse, right at the edge, where the land ends and the beach begins. There is a proper light-house at the Point but also this small light right down on the stones - we think it might be for small craft to use as a sighting line in conjunction with the main light. If anyone knows better, please say.

This is totally untouched - the sea and sky was exacly as you see it -

365 week 7 0023

And for today - church this morning - road works made it difficult to get there, but we all got there eventually. One of the children was not there last week, and I suggested that the others explained to him what he had missed - and yay! they not only remembered making the nutty meringues, but the symbolism behind it! A good lesson, I think.

S2C, very kindly, spent the afternoon with me at our elderly friends' house down the road, passing on a computer to them as theirs is a bit past it, and this one was just sitting on top of the cupboards in the tiny spare bedroom. But when we got home I got a few minutes peace in the garden, and thought I would share the blossom on my pear tree with you. It is its best feature - it rarely has much edible fruit, but at this time of year it is a white tree worthy of Minas Tirith!

I'm sure there was something more to add, but I've forgotten it!
