I am embarrassingly chuffed! I won 'Best Lord of the Rings Crossover' at the Crossing Over Awards over at Twisting the Hellmouth.

I am embarrassed because [livejournal.com profile] speakr2customrs, who I think is a better writer than me by quite a way and who betas my stories, only got second places and honourable mentions...

Major congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] ffutures who won THREE categories.

Actually the very best thing about Return of The Key being at TtH is that so far it has had an average of 1,278 readers per chapter! That just makes me feel really happy!

Thank you!

Someone pointed out to S2C that 'Battlestar Galadriel' is a title waiting for a story... just add in Super!Xander and it's got to be a winner!

Hmm - or how about Super!Xander meets Super!Grover? Possibly on board the Battlestar Galadriel... that covers most bases, I think!

Thank you - I really enjoyed writing this story, and it is lovely when other people agree that it works.

Thank you. I can only put the series on Open Scrolls apart from Twisting the Hellmouth - I don't think it would be allowed on Stories of Arda etc. as, although mainly set in Middle Earth post Ring War, it is a cross-over.

So it is a real thrill for me for a story which is more LotR than BtVS to win on a site which is primarily BtVS.

Thank you. Personally I thought Bug on the Cosmic Windscreen should have won too.

Doing okay, although horribly depressed and angry at how the Fred story in the IDW AtS comics has turned out. I should have known better than to have hope; it was all a trick and she hasn't been brought back to life after all. *sigh* That'll teach me better than to become emotionally invested in a Buffyverse story ever again.

I have studiously avoided the comics. As far as I am concerned canon finishes with Chosen and Not Fade Away, and the comics are not very good fanfic.
