LJ is Eating my Comments.
The last three times I have tried to comment, I have hit 'post comment', and found myself on what LJ tells me is my home page - not on
gillo's journal with my comment showing, nor on
azalaisdep's journal ditto.
So, sorry ladies - no idea where the comments went. Is anyone else having the same problem?
ETA - it does seem to be improving again - hurrah!

I'm having trouble, too. And I know a couple of others who are not able to comment either.

I'm glad it's not entirely crashed too.

Comment not posted: POST required, or missing parameter.

Edit: looks like it works ok for me.

Hmm - didn't work the first time I hit 'post comment'...

Dreamwidth is not nearly as glitchy, but not everyone or every community is on Dreamwidth, sadly.

I have never really taken to Dreamwidth - and the cross-posting thing never worked when I tried it - DW kept telling me that I didn't know my own LJ password - so I gave up trying!

DDoS attack!
LiveJournal is currently under a DDoS attack, and the site may be slow or inaccessible for short periods of time. We are actively fighting this attack, and working to restore normal functionality of the site as quickly as possible. Thank you for your support and patience!

Seems to be better now, anyway....

However, it seems better now. Fingers crossed.

However I seem to be getting them to post first time almost every time now - so things are clearly a lot better. Hurrah!

(At least I hope so - I haven't tried hitting 'post comment' yet this morning...)

LJ was being very very flaky last night - downrightnow agreed it wasn't just me. I ended up posting to Dreamwidth and was quite surprised just now to realise that LJ had accepted the crosspost eventually!

I have been and reconstructed it... just for you!
