The current prompt at tolkien_weekly is Twilight. lady_branwyn looked at that and her mind went to... that sparkly place so derided by so many of my friends - quite rightly!

And so we have a Tolkien/Twilight crossover drabble - and all you need to know to appreciate it is that Thuringwethil is a REAL, non-sparkly type, vampire...

That was funny. I've read Twilight but don't remember that bit of dialogue. I have no doubt it's there, though! (A coworker was so happy to lend me each novel - I read the first one through and did work my way through the rest by skimming more and more of each consecutive installment. After the first, I just couldn't read them word-for-word, cover-to-cover.)
