Does anyone want a ticket to Leeds Festival?

D-d has one, bought as an early-bird, but is not now going. She thought she had sold it, but has just got an e-mail from her buyer to say there he has a problem and he isn't buying it after all. If you are interested, I think she wants £180 for it, say in a comment and, when she gets home from her friend's house, I'll put the two of you in touch...

It sounds amazing and there are a few bands I'd want to see, but, alas, Leeds is too far for me--seeing as I'm 1) In the US and 2) Unemployed atm. But hopefully D-d finds someone soon!

She hopes she will, but as money is tight for so many people it is possible that, for the first time ever, there are more sellers than buyers...

It doesn't help that the bands there are mostly bands favored by the under-40 crowd, and it's people in their 20s and 30s that are just out of school and have to end up moving back in with the parents that seem to be the biggest unemployed/underemployed group. Of course there are plenty of people only a few years away from retiring who got cut from the office as well...

I recognized the names of some of the bands, but I have no ideas about their songs. The only group that I really know is Guns and Roses and even it is way after I lost interest in popular music. Oh, well, I am way over 40 yo.

The festival always features a few bands I've heard of... and a lot I haven't! But D-d has usually heard of almost all of them.
