Phew...
I've posted my Back to Middle Earth Month story to the community ready to be 'unveiled' on March 12th. I think I followed all the instructions...
I think I need a glass of wine after that - posting was almost as difficult as writing it, making sure I followed all the instructions plus making sure the recipe format was OK, and the photo I added... (My prompt was The turning of the year brings feasts and holidays. It's time to enjoy the bounty that was saved for the winter. Create a story or a work of art featuring a Winter seasonal food. Bonus for including a recipe. - but how I answered it will only be made public in another 6 days time!)
And - a small sign of spring, at last!

Congratulations on posting the story!
And enjoy the wine.

The daffs do brighten the garden - even though there are only 4 of them.

I have 2 narcissi just opening too. None of the others have flower buds, though - just leaves, this year.

Congratulations on finishing your story. I look forward to reading it.

PS - I finally put a small package in the mail for you today.

(Anonymous) 2014-03-07 04:18 am (UTC)(link)No flowers in my garden yet other than Miss Kitty sitting there looking innocent. So far this year the count is two lizards, one with and one with out tail and a gopher, I wonder if she will beat last years score which topped out at about a dozen gophers and other assorted bits and pieces.
Now if only I can get her to leave our lady mail carrier alone!
Why do they make it so hard to post a story, I think authors would think twice about posting if it is so difficult?

I think you might rather like my story - the character list starts Frodo, Gandalf, Elrond, Celebrian....

The 'other people can post, too,' bit confused me completely - do you post the other stories only after the date of the prompt? On the day of the prompt? Etc.

Posting it probably not really,/i> hard - but there is a set format for what info to give in what order, info on tagging, and a deadline. You can see why I only get involved in such things about once every 2 years!

Beautiful daffodils, and I love the colour of the pot!

I do like blue pots - I have quite a few in my garden - they make me happy to look at them even in winter.

How nice to see your daffodils! When I saw your post, mine in the pots at the front door were still closed, but they opened today as well.

So it probably isn't as difficult as I've made it sound - particularly if you just leave it untagged for the admins to do it.
