Snow!

We had snow today! The temperature was down to 0.5C and it snowed for a couple of hours. It even stuck on the hills. In October.

Perhaps we really are going to get a good, cold, winter. There again it might be the only snow we get this winter at all...

I am making no attempt to predict the weather - although the rowan trees have been heavy with berries which my mother reckons fortells a bitter winter.

I'd quite like a white winter, but I'm not holding my breath!
