Dancing on Ice - and not at the European Championships either!
I don't know if any of the European Doctor Who fans on my FL have noticed, but Captain Jack (or at least the actor who plays him!) is in the ITV programme 'Dancing on Ice' (Like 'Strictly Come Dancing' on ice). And he is very, very good. If I was a betting wombat I'd have me a fiver on him to win.

I saw him many years ago in 'Miss Saigon', and he's obviously an amazingly multi talented performer. Roll on Torchwood.

Roll on Torchwood, indeed. There can never be too much JB on TV.

It was the first ever musical I'd seen in the West End, and so holds an even more special place in my heart. I was completely entranced by the whole thing, and JB was amazing. Interestingly, the other male lead was Peter Polykarpou, who later turned up as one of the husbands in Birds of a Feather. He had an amazing singing voice too.

Yes, I think Andy Peters will be pleased to have been voted out last night. My bet is on Gaynor Faye for next week, she doesn't look comfortable out there at all, poor thing, or maybe Kellie Holmes, the judges don't seem to like her. (And another John Barrowman piece of trivia - he presented one series of the children's show 'Live and Kicking' with Andy Peters and Emma Forbes).
The singing thing is on BBC1 just before 6.00 (but not on next week but the week after). Bit of a mixed bag of singers (David and Carrie Grant, Mica Paris, some boy who used to be in Steps, and Ruthie Henshall and JB), plus a guest host who sings as well. JB also does a bit of backstage chat. You can tell who has put the time in in musical theatre though.
