Cat Spam
I have a cold - I am not feeling very productive, and I have a cat sitting on my knee between chest and laptop. So although I should be getting on with chapter 20 of TYA (about 1,000 words of which are written, so it is coming along!)I am posting cat pics. A couple of our idiot moggy, and some of my friend's rather more upmarket ones, from my holiday.
Our cat Shaka loves to sleep in odd positions – this is him keeping S2C from writing
and here he is using the wireless router as an aid to sleep.
This is my friend D’s British Shorthair Tabatha – she was the friendliest of the four cats who deigned to let me stay in their house on Skye.
This is Dougal – another pedigree British shorthair.
The two British Blues are rather shy – it took a while to get this close to them – in fact this was taken on my last evening on Skye.
But I took this toy out of their toy basket to play with Dougal – and lo and behold, one of the blues came to play. Not even D. could tell whether it was Rum or Mango.

Cute kitties! I love that last one!
My poor, older cat (Katze) has developed diabetes (like the one I had of his namesake 15 yrs. ago)and now he has to get insulin 2x a day. We just started this last week, and have to take him to the vets this week, and get the does upped, I think. He's still drinking a lot of water, but at least he's not feeling so horribly skinny. Poor thing...he's the nicest cat I've ever had, but he's been hiding out in the basement with his buddy, (white Siamese, Koko) for the past 2 months b'cuz we adopted a dog of my daugher's friend's who doens't like cats, and so far I can't find another home for her!
