I was tagged for this quite a while ago, but have only really got around to thinking about it today!

Hmm – I can’t remember whether the original ‘tag’ was for five or ten – I’ve seen both quoted! Going for the biggest is best theory - here are Ten Fictional People I would happily shag:

1. & 2. Here are the usual suspects – Spike when he’s not too self-immolating, and Angel when he’s not being ‘Nasty!Angel’ Probably not whilst he’s being a puppet though!!

3. Oz. Yep.

4.& 5.Robin of Sherwood, either in his Michael Praed incarnation, or his Jason Connery one – both together might lead to problems and identity crises.

6. Legolas – hopefully the Orlando Bloom version.

7. Mr. Darcy – now defined in my mind by Colin Firth, which is a good thing, because an earlier BBC version had put me off the character for years!

8. Jack o’the Shadows, from S2C’s Deid Canny, and the Roxyverse stories – he is definitely a fictional character, a vampire with a fairly chaotic neutral personality, and in my mind’s eye looks like a mid-eighties version of Bono – what’s not to shag there?

9. Davus from the Steven Saylor Roma Sub Rosa books. Big, blond, well muscled, young man!

10.The Gold Blend coffee man from the late eighties/early nineties!
(Taster’s Choice coffee man in the US – but quite possibly not played by ASH!)

I could probably have done a list of ten musicians much more quickly!!

Could be fun though *g*. I'm glad I'm not the only person who liked both of them.

Has definite possibilities doesn't it?

I got tagged for this ages ago, too, but I just can't face it. Darcy would probably feature, along with Weiss from Alias and Wash from Firefly and Helo and Apollo from Battlestar Galactica. Spike probably... wouldn't (gasp! horror!)

In fact, that's five right there, so I guess I should just post it!

Spike only makes it onto my list sometimes as well(!) - looking like this would be cool!

With you there on Michael Praed, but not so much Jason Connery. And Mr Darcy.

And those poor Americans - didn't they get ASH with their coffee?

S2C tells me that actually they did get ASH and Sharon Maugham (Or something like that!), so they will know what I mean.

Hee! I was talking to somebody on the phone today who scolded me for never telling her the "taster's choice" guy was on Buffy. I tried for a long time to get her to watch the show but she refused on the grounds that vampires would give her nightmares.

Sharon Maugham (Or something like that!),

She's in Holby City now, used to be married to Trevor Eve (might still be). Seems that's where all the big names are now - Robert Powell, Art Malik. I've caught a couple of episodes recently, but it's just not the same without Mr Meyer (now he could have gone on my 'to do' list too).

The Taster's Choice man here was ASH. Was he also the Gold Blend coffee guy?

Yes - the Gold Blend adverts came first, as far as I can make out, and were so successful in the UK that they used them for the equivalent brand in the US a little later. I hadn't been sure whether they had used the very English pair in the US, or whether they had shot them again with American actors.

I think I have a warped mind but that summons up images of nude musicians awaiting their turn...

Haha! I realised after I'd posted that I could have phrased that a little better - and I wondered if anyone else's mind would go the same way!
