I can't read LotR stories, because I can never keep any of the characters straight in my head, but I think I know who Aragorn is, and anyway, in this story I don't really need to. With the scents and sounds and atmosphere of the place, you have evoked homesickness, longing, fear and temptation, all beautifully. Very nice. Very nice indeed.
