Colour Meme - Deep Blue.

I have seen this on a couple of friend's journals - where they have been given a colour, chosen for them, by a friend - and you find ten pictures featuring the colour. As far as I can tell, they don't need to be your own pictures - just ten things you like.

[livejournal.com profile] binkaslibrary gave me 'Deep Blue'.

My Ten Deep Blue Somethings are

Deep blue always makes me think of the sea - here is Douglas Bay in the winter -

365 week 46 Sunday

And sometimes of the sky -

October 2010 - Mooragh shore 4

And then of my church -

Sanctuary.

I love the deep purpley blue of some flowers -

Columbine 2

And the colour of light through blue stained glass -

And then there was the deep blue of my wedding bouquet -

wedding 26th April 1986

Deep blue makes me think of sapphires -

And this, because I like it -

It is a square mandala by someone called Paul Heussenstamm.

Always JBJ made me this lovely Banner for Return of the Key -

Banner by Always JBJ

And finally - Deep Blue Something!

If you would like to join in just say so and I'll give you a colour.

The "Dark blue" obviously suited you! The stained glass picture is very impressive. Did you "pointillise"it?
Sea and Sky never fail to be arresting.
Flowers!
Sapphires!(Give me brilliant-cut rather than cabochon though.)
Ooh and you wore a hat too! (My wedding bouquet had Violets, Camellias and Lily-of-the-Valley with pale green leaves; all silk as one of my bridesmaids would have sneezed her way down the aisle if I'd had real flowers!)
Awesome!

Hello - how lovely to see you.

The stained glass isn't one of mine - I found it on-line and just liked it - I think it is as is.

My flowers were silk, too - and my hat was very much of its time - one of those shallow elongated bowlers, with a big net bow on the back and a hint of veil - I loved it on sight!

And thank you for the link - absolutely beautiful!
