Wedding Anniversary.

Well today is our wedding anniversary - and I can tell you that the weather in North Shields nineteen years ago was rather nicer than the weather in the Isle of Man today!

We have just been out for a lovely Chinese meal - I am sitting here absolutely stuffed with salt and chilli ribs and crispy duck - apologies to vegetarian friends! Poor S2C was at work last night, had about five hours sleep during the day, and disappeared upstairs when we got home from our meal out. Romance may not be dead, but it is snoring!!

I had thought to amuse you with one of the original wedding photos, but this would involve scanning, converting to JPEG and remembering how to put it onto Photobucket, and I'm too stuffed at the moment to concentrate that hard - maybe at the weekend!

Happy Anniversary! I'm sorry it wasn't more romantic today, but it's how it shakes out over the long haul that matters, isn't it? And I'd love to see the wedding pictures. I think I put mine up a while back, so you have to share too!

I promise I will get around to putting a photo or two up at the weekend! I must go back over your LJ and look for yours.

I can't find the the entry, but I know I didn't imagine it. The pics were taken with some poor cameras and had been in a storage compartment for years. When I tried to fix them Mr. M's coat changed colors, prompting some comments about "mood suits."

I did find the post of Mr. M's childhood photo. With your fondness for Charlie Brown, you should appreciate his head and ears:

Oh wasn't he cute? I have vey few pictures of S2C as a child - but in the only one I have of him as a baby he looks exactly like a middle aged Clive James - which probably means nothing to you in the US - and is a scary prospect for those in the UK over about 25!!
