I'm not sure whether I've eaten venison or not - might have had it at a restaurant once - but your casserole sounds rich and delicious.
I've also pinched the Red Cabbage recipe, as we had red cabbage at a friend's house over Christmas (not the odd friends, some normal child friendly ones) and it is something I never think about making.
