Nothing much!

Like many other people I have been having major problems commenting on other people's journals - so sorry I haven't been putting in my usual two-pennyworth, but I gather it is a widespread problem, so I'm sure you will all understand.

I hope everyone got gifts or cards for Valentine's Day from those you hoped would send them - possibly a few nice surprises as well. And for those of you who get fed up with Valentine's Day, I hope you were able to ignore it, or got something small and nice (thinks heart-shaped shortbread [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch!) from a non-romantic source!

[livejournal.com profile] enigmaticblues suggested it should be a day for random acts of kindness - and I had fun over my breakfast yesterday sending random virtual gifts to members of my FL - maybe I should have made them anonymous but then some of you might have been worried about unknown admirers - or disappointed when you found out that you didn't have an anonymous admirer after all! If you didn't get one please don't feel slighted - it was a random act of kindness.

For those still interested in the fan-fic, my part of Chapter 5 of Access All Areas is written, but S2C has been at work for the last 5 nights, but now he will be able to finish writing and splicing his stuff into it. Hopefully I can post it tomorrow, otherwise Saturday. Chapter 6 is already shaping up well too.

It's been quite windy today - 40mph average wind speed this afternoon - so I think I can use my 'blustery' icon - it's the first windy day since I found it!

Thank you so much for the virtual rose! I did receive it and I usually have better manners than to let it go so long without mentioning it. At the time, though, I was in the middle of leaving my job, packing up, and moving to Indiana. Made it here safely with three cats and DH in tow on Tuesday, in time for supper. Now I'm online at my sister's, catching up my lj and e-mailing off resumes. Thanks again; the virtual gift made my day.

I wondered where you were, I'm glad you've been off-line for a nice reason, not illness or anything. Wow - all moved - well done you!

I hope you have better weather to job-hunt etc in your bit of Indiana than [livejournal.com profile] ozma914 ishaving in Albion - he sounds fed up with snow. Although I guess it would make a change after Vegas!

Very good luck with it all.
